United Way of Montcalm

The United Way of Montcalm County was formed in 1950 to
bring community resources together to address health and human service
needs in the county. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, operating
under the direction of a volunteer board made up of 21 community members
from around Montcalm County.
The United Way of Montcalm is an independent organization,
with affiliate membership in the Michigan Association of United Ways and
United Way of America.
Key facts:
89% of donor dollars contributed in the campaign are
allocated to partner programs that provide services in Montcalm County.
More than 13,000 Montcalm County residents received
services from United Way programs in 2004.
Our campaign goal in 2005 was $185,000 to fund programs
in 26 local agencies.
34% of funds allocated go towards programs that Nurture
Children and Youth, 36% Foster Health and Wellness, and 30% goes to
Building Strong Communities.
